A cord of Beech contains about 24 Million BTUs.  100 Gallons of fuel oil contains 14 Million BTUs.    Set your thermostat a bit lower and run a fire when you are home.  When a cord costs as much as 100 gallons of fuel oil, every BTU of wood heat used costs ~42% less than oil.  As the price of oil climbs, so does the savings of burning wood!

SHIPPING RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Our first priority is to make you whole!  We will ensure our wood-fired maple syrup gets to you safely, one way or another! We have a lot of experience shipping maple syrup in glass.  Our glass comes wrapped tightly in a recycled perforated cardboard mat with substantial buffers between each piece and the sides of the box.  However UPS can sometimes disregard our many fragile stickers and accidents do still sometimes happen.  If a glass has broken, please take a picture of the situation and email the picture along with a description of the damages to ruggedridgeforest@gmail.com . We will get a replacement on its way to you immediately and take care of the rest on our end.  If you are ever dissatisfied with our product, let us know and we will do everything reasonably possible to satisfy your concerns.

Please allow 1-3 days for us to ship your order.  90% of our orders ship the same day if placed before 3pm.  If there is an issue with your order we will be in touch with you within 2 days offering your options for a remedy.  Thanks very much for making us your Wood-Fired Maple Syrup people.  We love to deliver the sweetness to those who support our efforts : )

Returns

In the case of damaged/defective/sub par product or the wrong item being shipped, we will replace or refund the product as soon as we are made aware, up to 30 days from when the item is delivered.  Otherwise, all sales are final.  We are confident you will love our product and hope that it will inspire you to remain customers for years to come.  Please direct all queries to ruggedridgeforest@gmail.com

Refunds (if applicable)

If our product is found to be defective for any reason, we will offer to replace the product, unless a replacement is not desired, in which case we will offer a refund.

We take the ongoing pandemic very seriously and are taking measures to reduce the spread.  In addition to being geographically isolated ourselves, no one experiencing symptoms comes in contact with our product or packaging, we wash our hands frequently, and there is only one person packing orders.  UPS handles our packages longer than the life of the virus on plastic or cardboard, however take whatever care you deem necessary when handling the outside of any delivered package.  The virus can live for 3 days on plastic, but only
